The Aspergers Autism Youth Group is a Partnership between The NSW Department of Education and Communities, Wagga Autism Support Group, Northcott Society and COMPACT.
It began as a result of a gap that was identified in the support available for young people aged 18 to 25 who were at risk of becoming socially isolated due to social barriers such as Aspergers, Autism or a mild physical or intellectual disability.
It is hoped the group will give participants the opportunity to socialise, develop skills such as problem solving and leadership and to just have fun! Their first group meeting was an Archery Night at the PCYC.
