The Wagga Impact Network Children, Youth and Family Alliance (The WIN) is a collaboration of community sector leaders using collective wisdom and influence to inform, consult and advocate for and with our community to improve the wellbeing of our children, youth and families.
The WIN began in 2012 from the seeds of a conversation between key people in the community sector.
They identified the need for culture change in this sector, from a highly competitive environment to one of collaboration.
Other like-minded community sector leaders joined to form a commitment to develop this positive initative further and to seek membership from key community leaders.
We live and work in this community and are best placed to build on our strengths to consult and work towards solutions to the challenges facing our children, youth and families.
The current Establishment Committee forms the foundation of The WIN. Member organisations include: COMPACT Incorporated, Red Cross, Relationships Australia, Campbell Page, Centacare, Murrumbidgee Medicare Local, Anglicare, Intereach, Mission Australia. The Wagga Wagga City Council is an Associate Member.
An inaugural Executive Committee will be elected to continue and lead this work by the end of 2014 when the Alliance will seek incorporated status.
